Manage trips

Context

Trips are the heart of your catalog. These are standard itinerary templates that you rely on to build your client offers.

A trip is composed of Steps (days, accommodations, flights…). When creating an offer, these trips can be easily adapted: adding or removing days, modifying Steps, adjusting the number of participants, etc.

This approach allows you to create customized offers quickly while benefiting from automatic budgeting.

Objective

Create and maintain reusable trips (itinerary templates) to accelerate the creation of customized offers, with automatic budgeting and significant time savings.

Where to find this feature?

To create, modify or delete trips, go to the Trips tab. You will find the list of existing trips and can easily manage them.

If the Trips tab does not appear, it means you do not have the necessary rights to manage trips. In this case, contact the person on your team with administrator rights so they can adjust your permissions.

Step-by-step

Here are the steps to create or modify a trip:

  1. Open the Trips tab in the Catalog section of the menu.
  2. Select an existing trip to modify it or click on New trip to create a new one.
  3. Fill in or verify the trip information:
    • Name: name of the trip.
    • Manager: select the user to whom the trip belongs.
  4. Save your changes.
  5. Add or modify the Quote associated with the trip by clicking on the Associate a Quote button or directly on the associated Quote.
  6. If you add a Quote, you will have the possibility to:
    • reuse information from an existing trip,
    • reuse an existing Proposal,
    • create a Quote from scratch.
  7. Once the Quote is associated, you can modify the trip elements as you wish (See the page “Modify a trip Quote“).
  8. Once the trip Quote is updated you can reuse it to create Proposals for your clients.
