Context
Insurance policies allow you to offer your clients additional coverage when booking their trip (cancellation insurance, multi-risk, assistance, etc.).
They can be integrated directly into Quotes to be automatically budgeted and clearly presented to the client. Precise insurance configuration ensures reliable pricing, good understanding of proposed options, and simplified management of insurance sales.
Objective
Create and configure reusable insurance policies to offer them easily in travel Quotes and automate their budgeting.
Where to find this feature?
To create, modify or delete insurance, go to the Settings menu, then to the Insurance tab.
If the Settings menu does not appear, this means you do not have the necessary rights to manage the settings of your Caladeo space. In this case, contact an administrator of your team so they can adjust your permissions or make the changes for you.

What happens next in Caladeo
When creating a quote, insurance defined as default insurance is automatically added. The client can then choose the insurance that suits them, or decide not to subscribe to any.
The insurance amount is calculated automatically according to the rules defined. Insurance can be added, removed or modified directly in the quote to adapt to the specific needs of each client.
Frequently asked questions
