Context
Tasks allow you to organize and track actions to be completed as part of managing your travel projects: follow-up with a client, preparation of a quote, confirmation of an option, administrative follow-up, etc.
They are associated with opportunities and contribute to better work organization and meeting deadlines.
Objective
Create, plan and track tasks to ensure nothing is forgotten and to guarantee effective monitoring of travel projects.
Priority tasks (overdue, to do today or coming up) are automatically visible in the operational dashboard.
Where to find this feature?
Creating, editing and viewing tasks for an opportunity are done via the Tasks tab (second icon in the left column of the opportunity).
Overdue tasks, tasks to do today or upcoming tasks are also visible directly from the operational dashboard.
From the opportunity pipeline view, you can see the tasks associated with each opportunity and their deadline using a color code:
- 🔴 Red: overdue tasks
- 🟠 Orange: tasks to do today
- 🔵 Blue: tasks to do soon
- 🟢 Green: tasks to do later
Step-by-step
Here are the steps to create or edit a task in the Caladeo application:
- Open the opportunity on which you want to add or edit a task.
- Click on the Tasks tab in the left column of the opportunity (second icon from the top).
- Click on Add a task, or on the three dots (…) next to an existing task to edit or delete it.
- Fill in the task information:

- Description (optional)
- Due date
- Save changes
Once the task is completed, you can close it by clicking on the circle to the left of its name. It will no longer appear in the operational dashboard or in the opportunity pipeline view.
What happens next in Caladeo
Once the task is created, it automatically appears in the opportunities pipeline view as well as in the operational dashboard, depending on its due date.
