Context
Caladeo allows you to create and issue client invoices from an accepted Quote, in order to clearly invoice amounts related to a travel project (deposit, balance, supplements, credits, etc.), while relying on client information and validated services.
Objective
Create and issue a client invoice from an accepted Quote, based on client information and services to be invoiced.
Where to find this feature?
Invoice creation is done from an accepted Quote, in the Financial tab.
To be able to create an invoice, the opportunity must contain at least one Quote with Accepted status and client information must be properly completed.
Step-by-step
Here are the steps to create a client invoice in the Caladeo application:
- Open the opportunity, then access the Quote with Accepted status.
- Go to the Financial tab of the Quote.
- In the Sales section, click on Create a sale.
- Fill in the sales information:
- Sales name (e.g.: Deposit on booking, Checked baggage supplement, Travel balance, etc.)
- Verification value: (the estimated amount of the sale)
- Save the sale.
- Then verify the Client Details section: Information is automatically pre-filled from the client file but you can modify it if necessary.
- Detail the services to be invoiced:
- Description
- Quantity
- Unit price
- Save the changes.
👉 Preview the invoice
Once all information has been completed and verified, click on the PDF tab (top right of the screen) to view the invoice in draft before issuing it.
👉 Issue the invoice
After verifying the content and rendering of the invoice, you can issue it definitively by choosing the invoice type: Pro forma invoice, deposit invoice, balance invoice, credit note. Once the invoice is validated, you can download it at any time via the PDF tab.
