Caladeo was born from a simple observation: no solution was really able to manage the daily life of an independent travel agency or a DMC. So we built it.
Our story
The origin of Caladeo
As director of several independent travel agencies and DMCs, Paul-Etienne BOUNON spent nearly two decades searching for a tool capable of handling the complexity of the business; from custom quotes to invoicing, while managing client follow-up, supplier coordination and margin management.
None of them delivered: too generic, too complex, or unsuited to the specifics of bespoke travel. Meanwhile, his teams continued juggling Word, Excel and email, losing valuable time each day that should have been spent with clients.
From this frustration, Caladeo was born: software designed by and for independent travel agencies and DMCs. A tool that adapts to your way of working, not the other way around.
